October 19, 2009 Meeting

David Lopez, spoke to us about the mission of the Hospital District ("improving our community's health by delivering high-quality health care to Harris County residents"), the effect of the various health care reform proposals on the District and other questions relating to mission of the District, 

We also heard from Barbara Stanley who spoke to us about the many benefits that the passage of Proposition 4 would bring to Houston.

Mike Lunceford and Ray Reiner, candidates for the HISD Trustee position of HISD District V, spoke to us about their visions for improving public education in Houston.
