May 20 Meeting to Feature
City Council Members

The Meyerland Area Democrats Club will hear from the area’s two local Houston city council members – District K’s Larry Green and District C’s Ellen Cohen – at its Monday, May 20 meeting.

“Councilman Larry Green recently noted District K is the most underdeveloped area in the city,” said Meyerland Democrats president Art Pronin. “With new development rules having just passed for areas outside the Loop, it will be crucial for local residents to weigh-in on how they want new, neighborhood building projects to look.” Pronin added that council members will speak on a variety of issues affecting the area, with the ability for attendees to ask questions as well.

As is customary, the meeting will be held at Fadi's Mediterranean Grill - 4738 Beechnut just West of Loop 610 West, Houston, 77096. The dinner will be at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting will start at7:00 p.m. There is no charge to attend, but attendees pay for their own food and drinks.
